We can't say Thank You enough to the men and women who sit behind the monitors and on the other end of the phone and radio. They keep calm during emergency situations and they keep us safe during our calls.

Thank you so much for all you do for our community!

This week we are sending our appreciation to the men and women working dispatch. They are masters in multitasking and their professionalism under pressure helps keep us safe. Please join us in saying THANK YOU for everything they do to serve our community.

The Flea Market Quilt for the Annual Quilt Raffle was officially revealed at our Spaghetti Supper yesterday!

In honor of America's 250th Anniversary, this quilt was handmade and donated by The Piecemakers of Bennett. It is a red, white and blue, king size quilt. The Piecemakers have been donating a quilt to our Annual FD Flea Market for over 20 years. Thank you Piecemakers!

Next chance to buy tickets will be at our Bennett Dump Donation Days on June 17th (2pm-8pm) and June 20th (8am-2pm) at the Bennett Fire Hall. Tickets are $1 each or 6/$5. Additional tickets will be sold at the Flea Market on June 27th. The drawing will occur at 2pm on Saturday, June 27th.

A big THANK YOU to all who came out to support our volunteer fire department today at our annual spaghetti supper! It was so great to see new faces and wonderful to see so many who return year after year. Thank you for supporting us!

THANK YOU to our crew from those that helped plan and prepare, to those who hung posters, to those who helped set up, to those who helped cook, to those who helped serve and to those who did the never-ending dishes! Thank you for helping and for your unending commitment to our department.

As a volunteer department, we can't pull off community events like this without each and every one of you! THANK YOU!!!

Good advice to share from our friends over in Minnesota. We too have witnessed many passersby's failing to slow down while passing an accident scene on HWY 53 in Bennett.
