We encourage residents to take time to learn, reflect, and participate in community events that honor the legacy and contributions of African Americans.

The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office will conduct its first of two training sessions for deputies on interacting with individuals with autism. Our office firmly believes there is always room for enhancing one's skills beyond traditional law enforcement training, and this presents an opportunity to gain greater insight into recognizing the signs and effectively managing situations involving individuals with autism, thereby ensuring their safety and comfort to the greatest extent possible in any given situation.
