I am deeply honored and grateful to the voters of Bennington for your support in reelecting me to the Select Board for another three years. Your trust and confidence inspire me, and I remain committed to working hard on behalf of our entire community.

This election sent a clear message: Bennington wants leadership that looks to the future, that refuses to be bogged down by petty arguments, and that is rooted in care and respect for one another—no matter where we come from, what we look like, or who we love. A Bennington that chooses hope over fear, progress over division.

I look forward to continuing this work with all of you. Thank you for your belief in a better, stronger Bennington.

Congratulations to Jim Sullivan and Jackie Matts . I'm looking forward to serving with you. To the others in the race: it's incredibly difficult to put yourself out there like you did. I know you all love our town, and it is my sincere hope that you continue to be involved and advocate for the causes you believe in.

Again, thank you, Bennington. I won't let you down.

TOMORROW is Election Day! 🗳️

Last year, a select board race was decided by just four votes—every single vote matters.

Make a plan NOW: When will you vote? How will you get there? Can you bring a friend?

Then, be a nuisance about it. Remind your friends, text your neighbors, post on social media, and knock on doors if you have to. This election is especially important, and turnout will make the difference.

Who I’m Voting For

Many people have asked who I prefer for the other two seats up for election. I’m generally reluctant to endorse, but with so many candidates running this year, I’ve decided to do so. My other two votes are going to Jackie Matts and Jim Sullivan .

Jackie will bring a fresh perspective along with proven board experience. She has the ability to challenge existing perspectives without being destructive, an eagerness to hear all voices, and a thoughtful approach to governance.

Jim has deep experience in municipal government, which will be invaluable to the board as we tackle the challenges ahead.

No matter who you support, just make sure you vote! Let’s show up for our community. See you at the polls!

Community Safety: A Shared Responsibility

Our Select Board has consistently supported our police department, ensuring they have the resources they need to serve and protect Bennington. However, many public safety issues—such as laws, policies, and funding—are decided at the state level, beyond our direct control.

That’s why community engagement is so important. I encourage everyone to attend tonight’s forum, where we can discuss concerns, ask questions, and work together toward solutions. I’ll be there, and I hope to see you there too.

Let’s keep Bennington safe—together.
