This is the final BennDems meeting before the August 11 Democratic Primary, as we prepare for both the primary and the general election. We'll share updates on our election planning, volunteer opportunities, fundraising efforts, and more before welcoming our special guests.

As Vermont continues to reshape public education, now is the time to learn more about what these changes mean for our schools, our communities, and our future.

Join Reps. Kathleen James and Rob Hunter, along with Sen. Seth Bongartz, for a virtual discussion on recent education reform legislation, including Act 73 of 2025 and H.955 of 2026, and what comes next for Vermont school districts and communities.

Today, Bennington County showed up with joy, pride, and purpose.

The incredible turnout at the Bennington Pride Parade—both on the street and lining the sidewalks—was a powerful reminder that our community is strongest when everyone is seen, valued, and celebrated.

The Bennington County Democrats were proud to march alongside Bennington County Indivisible and the many incredible organizations, advocates, and service providers who work every day to support and uplift our entire community.

Pride is more than a celebration. It is visibility. It is solidarity. It is a declaration that love, inclusion, and belonging will always be stronger than fear and division.

Happy Pride, Bennington County. Keep showing up. Keep speaking out. Keep choosing each other.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of former Vermont Speaker of the House Ralph Wright, a towering figure in Vermont and Bennington County politics.

Ralph’s dedication to public service and his lasting impact on the Vermont Democratic Party leave behind a remarkable legacy that will continue to inspire generations of leaders to come.

On behalf of all those whose lives and communities were strengthened by his service, we offer our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones.

Rest in peace, Ralph. Your work here is done, and Vermont is better because of it.

What a fantastic day yesterday!

Our booth at Better Bennington Corporation's MayFest was busy all day, with fantastic conversations, opportunities to collect signatures, meet candidates, and connect with this amazing community.

It was capped off last night with a thoughtful and engaging Lt. Governor Candidate Forum with Esther Charlestin for Vermont, Molly Gray for Vermont and Ryan McLaren for Vermont.
