May is National Bike Month!

BFL and The Bike Hub have teamed up to celebrate all month long. Patrons who check out a book from BFL Youth Services' featured bike collection, then bring the book to the Bike Hub, will receive a free sticker of their choosing!

Important notes:
- The Bike Hub is open Wednesday - Saturday, 10am-6pm. Shop staff will be thrilled to help patrons select their sticker during the above business hours.
- BFL has more bicycle books available than are shown on display in the photos. Any bike or related book from the Children's or YA collection counts.

Happy Earth Day! 🌎🌲🍃🍄🫶

Stop by the library to create an Earth Day postcard now through the end of April. Postcards will be mailed to local organizations who do wonderful work on behalf of our planet following the conclusion of the activity. Materials available in the children’s and young adult sections.

Don't forget: Our fourth Earth Day Craft Supply Swap is this Saturday, April 25 from 10am to 4pm - so get ready to come in and pick up some new-to-you craft supplies. If you have extra clean and gently used craft supplies you want to donate, please drop them off at the library during OPEN HOURS this week. We will accept donations while our storage space allows.

We are here at the library with the Bennington County Solid Waste Alliance and The Bike Hub at the third Fix It Fun community repair event and our wonderful volunteer fixers are fixing: a stand mixer, a sewing machine, and some knives and tools sharpened already! We are open until 4pm today!
