🚒☀️ New Summer Community Program! ☀️🚒

We are excited to announce our new Fire Truck at the Playground summer series! Join your local firefighters for an morning or afternoon of fun, fire safety education, and hands-on interaction with a real fire truck.

Kids will have the opportunity to meet firefighters, learn important fire safety tips, explore the fire truck, and cool off with some water fun!

We look forward to seeing our community come out and enjoy this exciting summer activity.

This week, local first responders participated in a federally funded training program focused on preparing personnel to effectively manage large-scale emergency incidents. The training emphasized incident management, coordinated response operations, and search and rescue techniques designed to enhance readiness for complex emergencies.

Through realistic scenarios and hands-on instruction, participants strengthened their skills in interagency coordination, resource management, and rescue operations. This valuable training helps ensure our responders remain prepared to protect and serve the community during major incidents and disasters.

A special thank you to the Northampton Fire Department for hosting this outstanding training opportunity and supporting the continued professional development of first responders from across the region.

This afternoon crews responded to a fire alarm at one of the laboratories in the Trevose area of the township. After receiving updated information from on-scene personnel, the incident was upgraded to a HazMat response.

Crews quickly worked to identify, contain, and neutralize the hazard within the laboratory. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of all responding agencies, the incident was safely brought under control with no further threat to the surrounding area.

Great work by all responders operating safely and professionally throughout the incident.

An exciting and action-packed training is underway as first responders from Pennsylvania and New Jersey come together for specialized instructor training in UTV/ATV operations and emergency trailer driving. This hands-on program focused on building the skills needed to safely and effectively operate off-road response vehicles and tow emergency equipment in real-world conditions.

These newly trained instructors will now be able to bring this knowledge back and teach new students and strengthen response capabilities across multiple departments.
