Create your own jigsaw puzzle to take home, share with others, or gift to someone special. It’s a fun activity for all ages, and we provide everything you need. Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Village of Bensenville has partnered with Elgin Recycling (elginrecycling.com) to offer Holiday Light Recycling free of charge.

Bring any type of holiday string lights – working or not – to Village Hall or Public Works for recycling. Bins are indoors and only available for drop-off during business hours through the end of February.

It’s time to pull out your most festive (and cringeworthy!) attire—National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day is here! Celebrated on the 3rd Fridays of December, our library staff couldn’t resist joining the fun.

🎁 Fun Fact: Ugly Christmas sweaters gained popularity in the 1980s but became a holiday trend thanks to ugly sweater parties that started in the early 2000s!

Our Pet Pictures with Santa event brought smiles, wagging tails, and festive cheer while raising $190 for Fetching Tails Foundation! 🐶🐱✨ A big thank you to everyone who joined, donated, and shared the joy.
