Another excellent information session for parents!

Join the DuPage County Health Department and Serenity House Counseling Services on April 14th from 5:00-6:00pm at the Villa Park Library for an informative session designed to help parents navigate the rapidly evolving world of va**ng and emerging substances.

This presentation will cover the latest trends in v**e products, including substances like kratom, 7-OH, and Deta-8. Attendees will gain practical tools to better understand how these products are marketed and sold, and learn effective ways to start meaningful conversations with their children about these growing concerns. Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

The Addison Township Mental Health Board, in partnership with KidsMatter, is pleased to offer this important training opportunity.

This training is designed for parents, teachers, coaches, and caregivers who work with youth ages 12–18. Participants will learn how to recognize signs of mental health challenges, provide supportive and nonjudgmental responses, and connect young people to appropriate professional help. The course also includes practical strategies for responding in crisis and non-crisis situations.
