Exciting news! The pickleball courts are now open in Benson. Pickleball is one of the fastest rising sports in the US, and we are so happy that Swift County provides these courts to the community! The courts are located at Lathrop Park on the south side of town!

Join us at Rural Voice on Sept. 8 at The Upper Room Marshall.

This year’s conversation will focus on an issue we hear about throughout Southwest Minnesota: housing and its connection to our region’s ability to attract and retain workers. Moderated by Minnesota Public Radio 's Kerri Miller, the discussion will bring together local voices to talk about the challenges we’re facing and, importantly, the ideas and solutions emerging from rural communities.

Doors open at 5 p.m., with food and a cash bar available. The town hall begins at 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public. We hope you’ll join us—and help us spread the word.

We are thrilled to announce that there are some new faces here in the HRA - EDA department! 🎉

Lexy Swanson is the new Program Specialist! We are excited to see the impact she will make in her new role!

My name is Shayla Kill and I will be the new Office Assistant, and I am thrilled to be the face behind running the social media for the department!
