The Benson Police Department, AZ is looking for an In-State Lateral Police Officer to join our team!

Minimum Qualifications:

-Valid Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (AZPOST) certification in good standing with at least one (1) year of patrol experience
-Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week operation
-Ability to walk for prolonged periods, including over rough or uneven terrain
-Ability to work outdoors in environmental extremes such as heat, cold, rain, air pollution, and dust
-Successful completion of a medical examination and the Department's physical agility test
-Valid State of Arizona driver's license with no record of suspension or revocation
-No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history
-United States citizenship
-Successful completion of a standardized background investigation to include a polygraph
