Hey Benson area 5-8 graders (and parents)! Save the date for Camp BRIDGE โ€” a one-of-a-kind summer camp hosted by the Benson Police Department and Benson Parks and Recreation set for July 21-23, 2026!

What does BRIDGE stand for? Building Relationships, Inspiring Dreams, Gaining Excellence! Activities will include tie-dying, police demonstrations, games, sports, and so much more! Interested? Clear your calendars and stay tuned for registration coming very soon!

The Benson Parks and Recreation and Mary Duncan Public Library building on Elm Street (next to the Fire Department) will be closed for the remainder of today (5-15-26) through the weekend to allow for contractors to repair a plumbing issue.

We will post an update when work is complete.

Shoutout to Hatley Seagroves for the top spot in the 3-5 age group and Rowyn Cordell in the 6-9 age group! Way to go y'all!

Hatley and Rowyn received a free registration for one sport at Benson Parks and Recreation plus a gift basket!
