🍬 HALLOFEST 2026 UPDATE (10-15-26) 🎃

Wow! We have reached maximum trunk capacity already — making this year a record for registrations! This is going to be a BIG Hallofest and we want to thank YOU for signing up! Our participants truly make this event awesome every year!

☎️ Online registrations are now closed, but if you missed it you can still get on the trunk waiting list. Just call Benson Parks and Recreation at 919-894-5117 to get on the list and if there's a trunk cancellation they will let you know by October 26!

Parks is getting ready for the fall/winter season! You can sign up now for Winter Youth Basketball and Cheer, register to participate in the Hallofest trunk-or-treat on October 30, and/or sign up for the Run for the Brave 5K in November! More info below!

If you missed this one, there's plenty of time to practice your pickleball game before the next one!

🏓 Head on over to the courts at the Mitchell Nance Athletic Complex on East Hill Street (next to Johnston County EMS)! Courts are open from 8am to 10pm.

Grab your paddle, bring your best moves, and report to the courts for an OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD pickleball battle! 🚀🏓

Brackets will be the same for each group:

- 2.9 Below - including Seniors (65 years or older) and Youth (15 Years old and below).

- 3.0 Above - Seniors and Youth are welcomed to sign up for this as well.

- Fee: 30.00

- 16 Teams per Division

- Double elimination format

- Ball that will be used: Franklin XD-40

- All profits will be donated to Parks and Rec Department.

The parking lot next to Benson Parks and Recreation (403 S. Elm) is now closed to allow the Mule Days Carnival to set up for the weekend.

Please use the Lee Street Gym parking lot (412 S. Lee) when visiting Parks & Rec for the remainder of the week.

🕐 Benson Parks & Rec will have modified hours for Mule Days:

- Thursday (9-24-26) — Closing at 5pm
- Friday (9-25-26) — Closing at 12pm
- Saturday — Closed
- Monday — Normal Hours Resume
