Just a reminder that the Woodford County Historical Society monthly meeting is this Thursday, August 13th at 7:00 PM at the Historical Center in the Benson Village Hall!

We’ll have a great program featuring some of the history of Benson, along with a look at the Civil War field rifle that Ernie Gerdes made for Bill Miller. 🇺🇸📜

The evening will feature a program highlighting the history of Benson, along with the story of the Civil War field rifle that Ernie Gerdes made for Bill Miller.

The boil order for the Village of Benson has officially been lifted.

Water is now safe to use for drinking, cooking, and all other normal household purposes.

Effective Monday, August 3, at 8:00 AM, the entire Village of Benson will be under a boil order until further notice.

Please boil all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, and preparing food until the boil order has been officially lifted.
