This morning, I had the privilege of representing Benson at the South Johnston High School graduation ceremony, along with our Mayor Max Raynor, and other county dignitaries. It was an exceptionally well-run event, and we are immensely proud of the graduating class. As these young adults embark on the next chapter of their lives, we wish them great success. We also commend the parents for their dedication and support in raising these fine graduates, and we look forward to watching them forge their paths in the future.

Wow, what a night! 🎸✨ Downtown Benson was absolutely alive last night for the Sundown in Downtown concert series!

The Fleming Road Band brought the house down with a performance that reminded us why we love live, local music.
It was a perfect evening with beautiful weather and the best community vibes around. Shoutout to everyone who supported our local downtown businesses, grabbed a bite from the food trucks, and made our neighbors feel right at home. A huge thank you to all of you who came out to make it such a memorable evening. Benson sure knows how to throw a party!
Chris Byrd and Karen Hilderbrand Cain won the 50/50 raffle and they donated the money to the chamber! We appreciate their support of our chamber and our town!
