A Heat Advisory has been issued for portions of southwestern PA, southeastern OH and northern WV from 8 AM - 8 PM on Wednesday. Heat indices will reach into the low 100s. Much of the area will be in the Major Risk category for heat risk.

At 22:54 our members were alerted along with Mon City’s first alarm for a working house fire. The rescue squad and Chief 1 responded with eight personnel. While responding, additional tankers were added due to the structure being in a remote location. Our tanker responded with two additional personnel. Our members operated initially as RIT until being placed in to suppression efforts. Crews operated for six hours before returning to service. Thank you to North Strabane Township Fire Department for the company fill.

Our members along with Ellsworth VFC assisted Bentworth Football, Cheer, Soccer and band boosters with the annual paw painting. We also were able to put a little firehouse touch on the one out front!
