Benton Count Fire District 2 Firefighters Association in conjunction with Benton Co Fire Protection District #2 are raising funds to purchase a Wooldridge XP or similar Rescue Recovery Boat.

The Yakima River runs through our entire district. Currently there is no rescue boat to respond to water emergencies and no surface rescue system in the Fire District. Our response area annually has thousands of raft floaters, bass fisherman, and people in canoes on the local river.

Goal is to raise $55,000-$60,000 to purchase a River Boat and related equipment.

Come and join in the celebration as we dedicate and Place into service Benton Two's brand new Workhorses this Friday.

We will kick it off at 6:00 PM with food, tours, meet your firefighters and loads of fun. At 7:00 PM we will begin the ceremony and end with pushing the engine into the station for service.

We would like to invite our wonderful community to attend and join in the celebrations. Check out our station and see all the new family members we are bringing on.
