Please join us in celebrating Ashlee Herzog’s 2-year anniversary with Cornerstone Alliance!

As Office Manager, Ashlee plays an important role in keeping Cornerstone Alliance running smoothly, often taking care of the many details behind the scenes that make a big difference in how our team works and how others experience our organization. From maintaining an organized, welcoming office and helping create a positive client experience to coordinating team outings and volunteer opportunities, she helps make Cornerstone a great place to work and connect.

Curious by nature, creative in her approach, and always looking for ways to make things work better, Ashlee brings a thoughtful, solutions-oriented mindset to her role. Whether she’s finding a way to tackle a challenge, anticipating what the team needs, or helping create opportunities for colleagues to connect beyond their day-to-day work, she has a knack for making things happen.

Thank you, Ashlee, for two years of thoughtfulness, resourcefulness, and care for our team and the people we serve. We’re grateful for all you do to keep Cornerstone Alliance moving forward!

Strong communities are built through the organizations and people who show up for them.

This past week, Jenna, Rachel and Marla attended annual meetings and events hosted by the Area Agency on Aging, Berrien Community Foundation and Michigan Gateway Foundation.

These gatherings highlighted meaningful work happening across our region, from supporting older adults and improving food accessibility to strengthening local agriculture and creating opportunities for young people to pursue the arts.

At Cornerstone Alliance, we know that strong local economies and thriving communities go hand in hand. Partnerships with organizations like these help expand resources, create opportunities and improve quality of life throughout Berrien County.

Want to help move Berrien County forward? Connect with local organizations, explore ways to get involved and be part of the work strengthening our region.

Plant tours, policy insights and great conversation. That’s a wrap on our fifth Manufacturers Roundtable of the year!

In September, members of the Cornerstone Alliance Manufacturers Roundtable met at Hanson International. In addition to hearing from the Hanson team and touring the plant floor, the group received an update from Dave Worthams, director of employment policy at the Michigan Manufacturers Association, on the current political landscape and its implications for Michigan manufacturers.

Thank you to Julie LaVanway and Nancy Miller for hosting, and to Dave for his valuable perspective.

Convergix Automation Solutions is a global automation and robotics systems integrator, delivering turnkey robotics, material handling, controls, and information systems to manufacturers across automotive, life sciences, food and beverage, and consumer products. Convergix is headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, with locations across North America, Europe, and Asia, including our West Michigan operations in Bridgman and Shoreham.

Where people, process and ingenuity converge.

Being part of southwest Michigan means more to us than having an address here. We support six local high school FIRST Robotics teams with funding, materials, and mentorship from our employees. We also recruit from this community at every level, from student interns to established professionals. We back local high school athletic programs and community sports such as Lakeshore Youth Baseball, and several employees coach those teams themselves, through both the schools and community leagues. We sponsor the Bridgman Public Schools golf outing, the Weko Beach concert series, and the Blossomtime Parade, which our team joins each year. Our people also volunteer with St. Jude, Special Olympics, MI Life in Numbers, and other nonprofits, and Convergix donates alongside them wherever our employees show up.

Cornerstone Alliance is proud to partner with organizations like Comvergix that are making a meaningful difference in the communities they serve every day.
