☀️🍋 When life gives you a hot Arkansas day… find a lemonade stand! 🍋☀️

Our Patrol Deputies were out serving Saline County in the heat when they came across the perfect reason to make a quick stop—some ice-cold, freshly made lemonade! 🥤

There’s nothing better than seeing our deputies take a few minutes to visit with some of the young entrepreneurs in our community. Judging by the smiles, we’d say the lemonade was a hit! 💛

Thank you for keeping our deputies cool and hydrated—and for making their day a little sweeter! 🍋👮‍♂️

Stay cool, Saline County!

🚨 DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER 🚨

Planning to enjoy the holiday weekend? Have fun...but make a plan before you start drinking!

Remember, Monday is a holiday, and the judge won’t be back until Wednesday. That could turn one bad decision into a much longer weekend than you planned. 😬

📱 Call a friend.
🚕 Get a ride.
🔑 Hand over the keys.
🚫 DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE.

A ride home is a whole lot cheaper than a DWI~and you’ll get to spend the holiday weekend where you actually want to be!

Stay safe, Saline County!

🐾💙 HAPPY RETIREMENT, K9 RANGER! 💙🐾

After 6 years of dedicated service to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, K9 Ranger has officially hung up his badge and is heading into a well-earned retirement!

During his career, Ranger completed approximately 85 deployments and played an important role in keeping dangerous drugs and criminals off the streets of Saline County and beyond.
Just look at what this good boy helped take off the streets:
🐾 Co***ne — 52.9 lbs.
🐾 Ma*****na — 8.46 oz.
🐾 Methamphetamine — 5.72 oz.
🐾 M**A — 7.16 oz.
🐾 Fentanyl — 10.8 grams

And Ranger’s work didn’t stop with narcotics. Throughout his career, he also helped locate multiple wanted subjects, illegal fi****ms, more than $10,000 in cash, and various illegal pills.
That’s one impressive résumé for a four-legged deputy! 🐕‍🦺

Ranger faithfully served alongside his handler, Lt. Bree Sharver, and now it’s time for him to trade deployments and duty calls for wide-open spaces, naps, treats, and plenty of time on the farm with his favorite human.

Ranger, thank you for 6 years of loyal and dedicated service to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office and the citizens we serve.
You’ve earned this one, buddy.

Enjoy retirement and keep living your best life! 🐾💙

Behind every uniform is a person — someone who answers the call, serves our communities, and often carries the weight of experiences most of us will never see.

Tomorrow, we invite our first responders, their families, friends, and the entire Saline County community to join us for Carry the Light: First Responder Su***de Prevention Day.

🕯️ Together, we will remember the first responders we’ve lost, support those who continue to serve, and reinforce an important message:

You are not alone.

🚨 DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER 🚨

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is joining law enforcement agencies across the country for the 2026 Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign, running August 19 through September 7.

As Labor Day weekend approaches, we want everyone to enjoy the holiday safely. If your plans include alcohol, make your transportation plans before the celebration begins.

During the 2024 Labor Day holiday, 505 people lost their lives in traffic crashes nationwide. Of those fatalities, 170 - 34% , were killed in crashes involving an alcohol-impaired driver. Among drivers ages 18–34 who were killed in crashes during the holiday period, 40% were impaired with a BAC of .08 or higher.

🚕 Use a rideshare or taxi.
👥 Choose a designated sober driver.
🏠 Stay where you are if you’ve been drinking.
🚫 Never get behind the wheel impaired.

Our goal isn’t just enforcement ~ it’s making sure everyone gets home safely.
Enjoy your Labor Day weekend, make good choices, and remember:

Well…..This got more of a reaction than we thought. To answer all the questions:

Yes, this was a real arrest. We seized drugs, guns, drug paraphernalia, and money.

Was AI used? Yes, AI was used to clean up the background of the photo because it was taken in our patrol room. It was only used as a tool to clean up the background and was not intended for anything else.

The original picture is posted below. We are sorry for making anyone think anything other than what was intended.

The drugs, guns, drug paraphernalia, and money are all real.
