The Circuit Clerk and Recorder is the clerk of the civil, domestic relations, criminal and juvenile courts and also acts as the ex-officio recorder for the county. Duties include maintaining a record of all proceedings of the civil, domestic relations, criminal and juvenile courts, preparing the dockets for these courts, and preparing summons, warrants, orders, judgments and injunctions authorized

by the circuit, domestic relations and juvenile court for delivery by the county sheriff. As ex-officio county recorder, the Circuit Clerk is responsible for recording deeds, mortgages, liens, surety bonds, and other orders and instruments which involve property within the county. Additionally, the Circuit Clerk's Office has been deemed as a Passport Acceptance Facility and assist citizens to obtain their passport.

CIRCUIT CLERK RECORDER/PASSPORT DEPUTY CLERK
• Starting rate of $40,521 annually for a new hire.
• Promotional rate of $44,494 for an established employee (an individual who has been a full-time Saline County employee for more than 90 days).
• Applicants are required to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Bilingual pay available once proficiency has been established.
• Group health, dental and life insurance is paid by the County for the employee’s coverage provided the employee obtain a wellness check within designated timeframe.
• The County contributes 15.32% towards the employee’s retirement through the Arkansas Public Employees’ Retirement System
