💙💛 Heart of the Falcon 💛💙

This year’s Heart of the Falcon award was proudly presented to the grandmas and grandpas of the Dinner Auction . These are the individuals who have faithfully prepared and served the meal that has become such an important community gathering and tradition at Kelso C-7.

For many years, these dedicated volunteers have poured countless hours into cooking, serving, organizing, and welcoming others with warmth and generosity. Their efforts have helped create more than just a meal; they have helped create memories, connections, and traditions that generations of Falcon families have shared together.

Some of those honored are pictured here, but this recognition extends far beyond one photo. Through the years, many families have played a role in carrying on this special tradition that continues to bring our community together.

We are incredibly grateful for the love, hard work, and servant hearts that continue to strengthen the spirit of Kelso C-7. Thank you for being the true Heart of the Falcon. 💙💛

☀️ Summer Office Hours ☀️

The Kelso C-7 School District office will operate on summer hours have begun:

🕗 Monday – Thursday
8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

The office will be closed on Fridays during the summer months.

If you need assistance, please feel free to contact the district office during these hours. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer!

The Kelso C-7 School District Board of Education will have their regular meeting on Monday, May 18th at 6:00 p.m. in the school library.

Kelso C-7 School District is anticipating an opening in our elementary school. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year!

Candidates must hold a current Missouri Elementary Teaching Certificate. Preference will be given to applicants with training in Science of Reading, such as LETRS certification, or similar professional development.

At Kelso C-7, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, student-centered environment where educators are empowered to make a meaningful impact each day.

As another school year comes to a close, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the incredible people who make our school such a special place. 💙

To our students — thank you for the laughter, growth, determination, and memories you brought into our halls each day. Watching you learn, succeed, and support one another is the reason we do what we do. We wish the best of luck to our 8th graders transitioning to high school! Your Falcon Family will always be here cheering you on!

To our faculty and staff — thank you for the countless hours, dedication, patience, and love you pour into our students every single day. The impact you make reaches far beyond the classroom walls, and we are so grateful for all you do for our children and our school family.

To our parents and families — thank you for your trust, encouragement, support, and partnership throughout the year. Your involvement and support help make our school community stronger.

And to our wonderful community — thank you for continually supporting our school, our students, and our staff. Your kindness, generosity, and pride in our school mean more than words can express.

This year brought challenges, celebrations, milestones, laughter, learning, and so many moments we will never forget. As we head into summer, we do so with grateful hearts and pride in all that was accomplished together.

What a fun-filled Play Day! ☀️🎉

Today was packed with laughter, games, smiles, and memories our students will be talking about for a long time! We want to give a HUGE thank you to our amazing PTO for sponsoring, planning, organizing, and helping make this special day possible for our students and staff. Your time, generosity, and hard work never go unnoticed. 💙

We are also so thankful for the delicious lunch today and tomorrow’s lunch as well! Our hearts are grateful, our bellies are full, and our kids are definitely tired tonight… and maybe a few adults too. 😉
