Campers spent the day making new friends, enjoying water activities, and kicking off a summer full of fun and adventure.

🏋️‍♂️💪 National-Level Achievement! 💪🏋️‍♂️

Congratulations to Benton High School student-athlete Jaxon Backus for an outstanding performance at the Powerlifting America Age Division Nationals this weekend!

Competing in the 74kg Sub-Junior division, Jaxon totaled an impressive 585kg (1,289 lbs), including:
🔥 468 lb squat
🔥 314 lb bench press
🔥 496 lb deadlift

His remarkable effort earned him 4th place in the nation in his weight class!

We are incredibly proud of Jaxon's dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence as he represented Benton on the national stage. Join us in congratulating him on this incredible accomplishment! 👏

Levi’s artwork is currently featured at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, and we are so proud to see one of our Benton Panthers represented in this special exhibit.

Another incredible school year is in the books! 🐾

This year was filled with growth, achievement, friendships, memories, and moments that made us proud to be Panthers. Thank you for making Benton School District such a special place.

We hope everyone enjoys a safe, restful, and fun summer break! We’re already excited for next year… but summer comes first. 😉

Please join us in welcoming Julie Roark back to Benton School District as the new principal of Caldwell Elementary! ❤️

With 30 years of experience in education, Ms. Roark brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion for student success to . Her career includes 21 years serving students in the classroom and as a literacy specialist, along with nine years in administration focused on building strong relationships and supportive learning environments.

A graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, Ms. Roark also earned advanced degrees from Harding University and Arkansas State University. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

“Returning home to Benton is both a professional milestone and a personal privilege. I look forward to partnering with students, staff, families, and the community to continue building a culture of excellence, compassion, and growth for every child,” said Ms. Roark.

The Benton Panthers Summer Feeding Program returns June 1 through July 31, providing FREE breakfast and lunch for any child 18 and under — not just Benton School District students.

Meals will be served Monday through Friday at Angie Grant Elementary and Ringgold Elementary. Breakfast will be available from 8:00–9:00 AM, and lunch will be served from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM. Please note that all meals must be eaten on site, and the program will be closed on Friday, July 3.

No registration or paperwork is required — just come by and enjoy a meal with us this summer. Menus will be available soon.

For additional information, please call 778-4861 and ask for Food Service.
