Our reading aides are an important part of helping our panthers grow and succeed! They work with students in a variety of small groups, providing extra support and practice in reading, math, and other areas where students may need a little extra encouragement. 📚✏️➕

We are so thankful for the patience, positivity, and dedication our reading aides bring to Angie Grant each day. Their one-on-one and small-group support helps our students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and celebrate those important little victories along the way!

🎒✨Wheels Stay Home!✨🎒

We’re rolling out another Handbook Highlight! 😉 One important reminder for our Panthers:

🚫 Backpacks with wheels are not allowed at school.

We know those rolling backpacks can seem like a great idea, but with busy hallways and little Panthers moving from place to place, they can create a few tripping hazards (and some serious traffic jams! 😆).

Please make sure your child’s backpack is a traditional, non-rolling backpack. Thanks for helping us keep our hallways safe, smooth, and Panther-friendly!❤️

🌲🥞 Tall Tales & Fairy Tales Celebration! 🥞🌲

Second grade wrapped up their Tall Tales and Fairy Tales unit with a breakfast fit for some legendary characters this past Friday morning! 📚✨

Students enjoyed breakfast with Paul Bunyan, Babe the Blue Ox, and Sour Dough Sam as they celebrated all the larger-than-life stories, characters, and adventures they’ve explored throughout the unit. 🪓🐂🤠

What better way to celebrate tall tales than with a breakfast that was almost as BIG as the stories themselves?! 😉🥞

Way to go, second grade! We love seeing learning come to life... and getting a little silly along the way! ❤️

💚 Meet Our Wellness Crew! 🐾

We’ve introduced you to some of the amazing people who make Angie Grant special, and now it’s time to meet the team dedicated to helping our Panthers feel their very best, our Wellness Crew! ❤️

Our school counselor, nurse, and School Resource Officer (SRO) each play an important role in helping our students feel safe, supported, healthy, and cared for. Whether they’re helping a student navigate big feelings, taking care of a sick student, or helping keep our school a safe and welcoming place, these three are always ready to support our Panthers. ❤️

We’re so grateful for the compassion, care, encouragement, and dedication they bring to Angie Grant every single day. They each have an important role in helping our students learn and grow in a place where they feel secure and supported. 🐾
