Marshall County (KY) Fiscal Court is looking to hire a dispatcher for the Marshall County E911 Center.

JOB TITLE: Dispatcher/Telecommunicator
Marshall Co. Fiscal Court is accepting applications from graduates of the Kentucky DOCJT Public Safety
Dispatch Academy.

Our E911 Dispatchers play a crucial role in emergency response and public safety by receiving and transmitting messages,
handling emergency calls, and dispatching the appropriate personnel to incidents. We answer more than 65,000 calls a
year and dispatch emergency services for more than 26 agencies including police, fire, EMS, and rescue.

Current pay scale for FULL TIME positions:
● Recent graduation from Kentucky DOCJT Academy: $20.00/hr.
● Two Yrs experience from Kentucky DOCJT Academy: $22/hr
● Three Yrs Experience from Kentucky DOCJT Academy: $23/hr
● Five Yrs Experience from Kentucky DOCJT Academy: $24/hr
● Ten Yrs Experience from Kentucky DOCJT Academy: $25/hr
*Adjustments may be made for those with service gaps.
Other:
● Pre-employment drug and basic physical screenings will be required initially with random drug screens required
throughout employment.
● Stringent background checks are required for this position.
● Generous medical and other benefits, including paid time off
● Twelve hour shifts
● Must be able to reliably commute to our E911 Dispatch Center at 23 Homer Lucas Ln, Benton, KY 42025.

On Friday, March 28, Jo Lynn Colson from Marshall Co. E911 graduated from the Dept. of Criminal Justice Training's Public Safety Dispatch Academy in Richmond.
