Already completed your online registration? Don’t forget to drop off your proofs of residency. Proofs are needed for your registration to be processed.

Yesterday, we celebrated Mrs. Jennifer Turner and an incredible career dedicated to students, education, and the BG family! After 28 years in education, including 15 years at Bentonia Gibbs Elementary, we are so thankful we had the opportunity to help her close out her final year of teaching by returning home to BG.

Mrs. Turner’s love for her students, dedication to excellence, and passion for teaching have left a lasting impact on countless lives. She truly finished her career in remarkable fashion, leading her students to the highest 3rd Grade GATE pass rate in BG history. This accomplishment reflects the hard work and commitment she poured into her classroom each and every day.

While we will miss seeing her in the halls of BG, our hearts are full knowing she is stepping into a season of rest, joy, and the retirement she has so greatly earned and deserves.

Thank you, Mrs. Turner, for your years of service, your unwavering dedication, and the legacy you leave behind at BG.

Congratulations on your retirement and on going out on top! 💙🎉
