It’s not often that we can get so many BHVRS members together in one place! This group photo was taken earlier this month at our business meeting, where we enjoyed a potluck dinner, caught up with one another, and recognized several members with awards for their contributions to the squad.

A full-circle BHVRS moment! 🚑

EMT and member Maya (who first joined BHVRS as a cadet herself!) was recently spotted showing her younger brother Shalen the ropes during our twice-daily rig check. Shalen just began his journey as a cadet- and what better way to learn than by a lesson from your older sister 😊

We love seeing the next generation of volunteers learn, grow, and follow in the footsteps of those who came before them. Welcome to the team, Shalen—we can’t wait to see where your BHVRS journey takes you!

Happy Father’s Day!

Today we celebrate all the dads, grandfathers, stepfathers, father figures, and mentors who make a difference in the lives of their families and our community.

Whether you’re spending the day with loved ones, sharing stories, firing up the grill, or answering the call to help others, we hope you enjoy a day filled with appreciation and gratitude.

The future of EMS is already here! 🚑

Just days after finishing the school year, cadet Max is spending his weekend in EMT class, building the skills that will help him serve our community for years to come. Pictured here, Max practices assessing a radial pulse with EMT David as part of the additional in-house training offered to our squad members.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication shown by our cadets and the next generation of EMS providers.

While our cadet program is closed until this fall, EMT training opportunities are ALWAYS available for adults who want to learn lifesaving skills, volunteer, and make a difference in their community.

Today, we recognize and honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and progress.

⚽️ What a fantastic time at Berkeley Heights’ World Cup Kickoff event this Saturday!

Our crew Shalen, Katherine, Howie, Pavni, Mya, Michele , Steve and David enjoyed celebrating with the community as excitement builds for the World Cup. BHVRS member Monica proudly represented the squad alongside Patria Station owner Carolina as she unveiled Leo Messi Way in honor of one of soccer’s greatest icons.

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the festivities, connect with neighbors, and share in the excitement. We’re proud to be part of a community that knows how to come together and celebrate! 🌎🏆🚑
