We are so excited to start celebrating the World Cup festivities tomorrow with all of you at World Cup Village in Veterans Memorial Park! As part of the Berkeley Heights World Cup Celebration, the Mayor’s Youth Ambassadors are collecting new and gently used soccer gear.

Clean Out for a Cause! ⚽

This initiative is being championed by Derek Zanko, a rising senior at Governor Livingston High School, who recognized an opportunity to put new and used soccer equipment into the hands of young athletes who can benefit from it.

Drop-off locations:
Town Hall — main entrance
Veterans Memorial Park — under the gazebo
Lower Columbia — under the gazebo

Donations are being accepted now through Sunday, July 18.

HUGE “Thank you” to Mr. Kobliska, principal of CMS, for being our host and emcee for our World Cup ⚽️ pep rally today! Some of our World Cup Youth Ambassadors helped get the middle schoolers pumped up for our big kickoff 🥅 event this Saturday at our “World Cup Village” (Memorial Park, across from Town Hall).
