Berkeley Medical Reserve Corps

Berkeley Medical Reserve Corps The Berkeley MRC is a volunteer disaster medical team that serves the UC Berkeley community through preparation for and response to emergencies.

It is a student run, federally deployable unit of EMT-Bs. We provide medical care to the campus community in the event of an emergency, at large-scale campus events, and through public health initiatives. We are dedicated to improving campus safety through disaster preparedness and emergency response. In addition, volunteers contribute their skills and expertise in public health efforts, peer education, and outreach; our CPR program with American Heart Association classes and certifications are available to all members of the Berkeley city community. To become a volunteer, you must possess an active state medical license of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or higher. Please see our website for details.
