Cancer Survivor Month
June is Cancer Survivor Month, a time to reflect on how cancer has touched so many in our community, our friends, neighbors, and families who continue to face challenges with remarkable strength.
To those who are currently fighting, please know you are not alone. To those who have survived, your resilience is an inspiration.
To those who carry the loss of someone they love, our community stands with you.
This month is a reminder to support one another, to prioritize our health, and to never underestimate the power of compassion and connection. It is also a time to recognize the importance of early detection and access to care.
Together, we will continue to lift each other up and hold on to hope.
If you or someone you love is affected by cancer, support is available:
American Cancer Society: 1‑800‑227‑2345
National Cancer Institute: 1‑800‑4‑CANCER
Cancer Support Community: 888‑793‑9355
These organizations offer free support, information, counseling, and help connecting to local resources.
You are not alone! 💚
