Member Book Study on Tuesdays began a new book last week. "On the Verge of Wisdom" is written by Tim Boyd, the current International President of the Theosophical Society. Book study offers methods for deeper learning. Each week we explore the text within a small group of members, allowing for reflection and application to our life experiences.

150 YEARS, A MOVEMENT IN MOTION

Tim Boyd says:

The TS will never be a mass movement, because we do not encourage blind belief. To be a theosophist requires a certain amount of questioning, as well as a self-directed effort, which is less popular than being told what to believe in. (from an interview with The New Indian Express)
