These two young men have been a great asset to our Explorer Program and we look forward to seeing them as a member of the Department in the coming months.

This week I am recognizing two senior students, Wade Ruggles and Blayke Mckillips. They are both volunteers at Berlin Heights fire department, where they can respond to some of their calls, they can do truck checks. They partake in a department wide training that happens once a month. They also participate in a weekly training for career students.

A group of our firefighters enjoyed a night out of Brotherhood yesterday by attending a Cleveland Monsters hockey game. The outing included a couple bonuses. The Guardians had their home opener right next door, so we were able to experience a little of that excitement. Also it was First Responder Night and one of the Fire Debs arranged to have our department name up on the screen. Needless to say, we all had a great time. Note I did not take all the pictures, but borrowed from other post.
