Jax and I had the opportunity to meet with Officer Schaeffer and Franny (Jax's sister) this morning for some tracking training before the temperatures became too hot.
Every time I watch these dogs work, I'm reminded of just how incredible they are. Whether Jax is providing comfort to someone going through a difficult time or putting his nose to the ground on a track, his focus and determination never change. It's amazing to see the instinct, drive, and training come together every time he's asked to do a job.
While Jax gets a lot of the attention, none of it would be possible without the dedicated people behind the scenes who have invested countless hours training him and helping him become the dog he is today. Their commitment, patience, and passion are what make these partnerships so successful.
A heartfelt thank you to Hudson K9 and Professional K9 Services for their outstanding training and continued support. Your dedication to developing exceptional working dogs is truly appreciated.
I'd also like to thank Boonefield Labradors for breeding such remarkable dogs. The quality, temperament, and work ethic they produce are second to none, and we're fortunate to have Jax as part of our department.
