Berlin Barrack troopers recently responded to a fatal crash in the area of westbound Route 50 near Rt. 610 in Worcester County. The preliminary investigation has revealed that a vehicle traveling northbound on Rt. 610 failed to stop at the stop sign located at the intersection and was subsequently struck by a second vehicle traveling westbound on Rt. 50. Congratulations to Corporal Eric Lenz, Trooper First Class Seth Shubert, and Emergency Dispatcher Cora Pusey for being recognized as the Department's Berlin Barrack Non-Commissioned, Trooper, and Emergency Dispatcher of the Year at the annual Awards Ceremony in Timonium last week.

We are so proud to have Eric, Seth, and Cora represent the Berlin Barrack, and a sincere thank you to all three of them for their outstanding work to serve Worcester County.

MSP Berlin Barrack troopers responded to Rt. 113 yesterday after passing motorists noticed a pickup truck parked on the shoulder of the road. While speaking with the driver, troopers became concerned about the man's well being due to his unusual behavior. During the subsequent investigation, troopers discovered 4 handguns, along with suspected he**in and co***ne, in his possession. The individual was arrested and the suspected drugs and fi****ms were seized.
