Happy Spring from Berlin Housing Authority!
As we head into spring, we wanted to take a moment to look back at some of the good things happening in our community over the past few months.
During the holidays, residents in Public Housing came together to prepare and deliver 37 Thanksgiving meals to neighbors. It was a true community effort.
We partnered with Feeding Hope Food Pantry, who helped cook the turkeys. Cup and Cone donated cookies, and Gold House provided containers. Several anonymous donors also made this possible. We also received handmade cards from a local Girl Scout group, which added a special touch to each meal.
In addition, White Mountain Chalet prepared and delivered over 100 holiday meals for residents at Public Housing and St. Regis.
Residents also helped create holiday stockings for every Public Housing resident, filled with a variety of donated and handmade items to bring a little extra cheer during the season.
As we move into the warmer months, we are excited to shift our focus to spring projects, including gardening opportunities for residents. We are also grateful to the Keep Driving Foundation for a $2,500 donation that will help support these efforts.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support and be part of our community!
