I've always dreamed of having a free little library to share the joy of reading with others, and I'm thrilled that this dream has finally become a reality. I'm incredibly grateful to my wonderful dad, who no longer was using his newspaper stand, as it has been the catalyst for this dream taking flight. I've thoroughly enjoyed giving this newspaper stand a new lease on life, and I hope it becomes a sanctuary for others to discover the enchanting world of books.
I've always found solace in escaping into books. As a child, I was fortunate to have people who shared my passion for reading. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was my absolute favorite, and my grandmother would eagerly read it to me every time I asked. I had heard the story so many times that I could recite it from memory. Whenever she tried to shorten the story, I would insist, "Grandma, those aren't the words." My mom introduced me to Nancy Drews, and we spent countless bedtime hours reading about how Nancy solved the mysteries. Perhaps it's here that my love for mysterious thrillers and contemporary romance was born. I firmly believe that everyone should have access to books, and I hope to create lasting memories for others, just as I had.
I decided to create a page to spread the joy further. I'll make an effort to post updates whenever new books or genres arrive. Feel free to use this page to share pictures, request specific books or genres, or simply post "booky" things. Happy reading from The Little Library on West Berlin St!
