As many know, yesterday's fire occured at a dedicated retired members home. We greatly appreciate the help and support from everyone that stopped. Citizens, neighbors, friends coming together to support the incident and family.
A few notables were the pizzas brought by an unknown citizen and provided by Central, Mickey Finns graciously providing shoes and private donations of light clothing, those that assited in the initial moments getting hose up the hill, and of course our amazing mutual aid partners, police, and ems counterparts. What an amazing display of community.

The below go fund me has been organized by a close friend to the family, please consider helping out if possible.

Our cadets attended a tower night this week in Newington working hands-on with hose deployment, fire attack, and search techniques. This begins putting together weeks of equipment, apparatus, and fire ground safety review.

Cadets are high school students 16 to 18 years old who have an interest in the fire service. They participate in much of the same training as regular members and assist during incident responses, fundraising activities, and special events.

We would like to thank all those who took a chance with yesterday's weather to attended our annual show.
Although we couldn't beat the rain the love and support from our vendors, car and equipment owners, attendees, and supporting departments kept the day bright!
