Well, that was fast. The WI State Park Passes are now gone.

The start of our Chick incubation has been delayed until next Tuesday (6/02). This will be the timeline:
Incubation period: 6/02-6/22
Hatching: June 22-25
After hatching, they will be in the habitat until 7/02 in the children's area

Photos for the GL County photography contest are due today. Bring in a photo that includes your favorite library. Photos should be 8 x 10".

GREEN LAKE COUNTY LIBRARIES PHOTO CONTEST

The five libraries of Green Lake County are announcing a county-wide photography contest. This contest is open to all ages and abilities. Participants are asked to take photos which relate to the theme "Through the Library Lens."

Photos are due at the participants' home libraries by May 26th.
If you can, please email a digital copy to [email protected]

In June, the public will be able to vote for their favorite photos.
The top 2 winners from each of the five libraries will move on to a county-wide contest, where voting will take place from
July 6th-25th. The top 10 winners will also be shown at the Green Lake County Fair, August 6th - 9th. The creator of the photo which receives the most votes will win a $50 cash prize.

Rules
- Photos must be taken within the building or grounds of a Green Lake County library (Berlin, Caestecker/Green Lake, Kingston/Mill Pond, Markesan, and Princeton).
- Follow the theme “Through the Library Lens”whatever that means to you
- 1 photo per person.
- Submit an 8x10 unframed print of your photo to your home library.

Photos may be used by the library and local municipality or Chamber of Commerce groups for marketing purposes.
Details on how to vote will be announced at the end of May.
