EMS update!
Berlin EMS personnel are ready to provide care to sick and injured patients 24/7. Our patients can be babies that are just being born all the way to individuals over 100 years old! Training for all those possibilities can be challenging, especially when resources can be limited in rural areas like ours. Which brings us to our update!
Green Lake County EMS services, including ourselves as well as Southern Green Lake County EMS, have undertaken some really cool training in 2026. Thanks to our partners at the Orion Initiative and the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, we have the opportunity to train extensively in pediatric/neonatal care. We will be using the latest and greatest simulators, equipment, and resources to further our knowledge and skills when caring for our most precious patients. Experts in the pediatric field will also be at our training and will be helping guide the education and provide us with the latest in pediatric knowledge! This is a groundbreaking experience and we can’t wait to share updates on our progress! We would like to thank all of our partners as well as the community for making this possible!
