🚨REMINDER! 🚨
🚒 Heads Up! Emergency Response Training Scheduled on Hwy. 158, June 3–5
Area emergency response agencies will be conducting training exercises on the Yadkin River Bridge along Hwy. 158 on June 3, 4, and 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
During these exercises, residents and motorists may notice emergency vehicles and rescue personnel in the area. The training is designed to simulate real-life emergency situations and may appear to be an actual rescue incident. To accommodate the training, one travel lane in either direction may be temporarily closed during the scheduled hours. Motorists are encouraged to use Interstate 40 as an alternate route whenever possible.
This realistic training helps ensure that emergency personnel are prepared to respond effectively when real emergencies occur. We appreciate your patience and understanding as first responders participate in this important training opportunity.
