This is a hard post for the Sandoval County Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Saturday July 25th 2026 we lost Rick Poolaw while he was in a dialysis session. His family and friends are still in shock because he was doing so well.
Rick joined the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to honor his brother Pascal Cleatus Poolaw Sr who was Killed in Action Nov 7th 1967 in the Binh Long Province at the Battle of Loc Ninh Vietnam. Rick volunteered to help the memorial and because of his total dedication to his brother, his family and friends he became a big part of the memorial's success.
Ricks involvement with the memorial was monumental and everything we did involved Rick Poolaw, Thank You Rick and we are going to miss you brother.
