VFW Post 7858 Welcome to the page of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7858 of Bernardsville and Basking Ridge, New Jersey We would love to have you join us!

Please see the above Mission Section for some of the things we do with the donations we receive, but know that you can be involved as little or as much as you like. We have members from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Kosovo, Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan to name a few. Good friendships have been formed at the Post along with good times. We have no bar and no building to maintain, so our

meetings are held at The Olde Mill Inn Hotel in Basking Ridge on the Fourth Wednesday, of every month. (Excludes July and August) A conference room has been reserved at the hotel for our meetings. Dinner is served at 6PM and includes soup, sandwich, sodas, coffee, tea and dessert.

Our annual poppy drive starts this weekend at locations throughout Basking Ridge and Bernardsville. Your donations allow us to support our forward deployed troops and veterans, foster patriotism, support our youth and support our local community. Memorial Day 2020 was like no other that VFW Post 7858 has encountered. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the Governor of the State of New Jersey mandated that there be no crowds. So in accordance with the mandate, VFW Post 7858 along with the Bernardsville Fire Department, Heartworks and others, an abbreviated ceremony was held. Here are the photos from the 2020 Memorial Day Ceremony to honor our fallen veterans.
