Our elementary students have been working hard to be Bucket Fillers by using kind and appropriate language, showing respect, and looking for ways to build others up.
Their positive choices earned them a celebration: a Pajama Day! Students got to enjoy a fun day in their pajamas while celebrating the kindness and respect they’ve been showing to others.
We’re proud of our students for remembering that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
Keep filling buckets and building each other up!

Happy Custodian Appreciation Day!

Our custodians do so much more than keep our schools clean. They help create welcoming spaces where our students can learn, our staff can work, and our school community can feel at home.

From the early mornings to the late afternoons, the everyday cleanups to the unexpected messes, they are always there making sure our schools are ready for our students and staff.

Today, we celebrate and thank the amazing custodians who take such pride in caring for our schools. We appreciate you more than you know!

October is Principal Appreciation Month, and we’re taking a moment to celebrate the people who lead, support, encourage, and care for our schools every day. Principals Mr. Schmit, Mr. Runkle, and Mr. Reinhard, and Assistant Principals Mr. Pfister and Mr. Lehman.

Our principals do so much more than lead a building. They celebrate the successes, navigate the challenges, listen when someone needs to be heard, and work every day to create a place where students and staff can learn, grow, and feel supported.

Thank you for the countless hours, the difficult decisions, the encouragement, and all the little things you do that often happen behind the scenes.

We are grateful for the leadership and heart you bring to South Adams Schools. Happy Principal Appreciation Month! 💛

Today, our South Adams Elementary students received a new bicycle helmet thanks to the generosity and teamwork of some wonderful people in our community.

A big thank-you to Officer Hough, INDOT, and everyone else who helped make this possible. From helping secure the helmets to organizing and distributing them, it took a team of people working together to make sure our students have an extra layer of protection while they’re out riding.

We’re grateful for the people who continue to look out for our students, support our schools, and find ways to make a difference in the lives of our students.
