Road Closure Update: Village Way Is Open

Village Way is now open as of Friday, September 4, at 2:15 p.m.

The road is open south of Main Street (U.S. Hwy 218) to just north of Directors Drive.

As we head into the long weekend, we’re wishing all of our South Adams families a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved break.

There will be no school on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

Good afternoon,
The City of Berne has announced the street closure below, beginning tomorrow after drop-off time. The closure will last until September 9.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURE – VILLAGE WAY

LOCATION: Village Way will be temporarily closed south of Main Street (U.S. Hwy 218) to just north of Directors Drive. Directors Drive, the east entrance to Swiss Village’s Main Campus, will remain open and accessible from the south.

REASON FOR CLOSURE: The continuation of the Berne Sanitary Sewage Project.

It was stormy outside, but inside our schools, our Starfires brought the sunshine!
Our hallways were once again filled with smiling faces, excited students, and staff ready to kick off another great year. We’re so happy to have everyone back and are looking forward to all that this school year has in store.
