Writing has the potential to change the way we think, the way we interpret reality, and it can help us endure even through difficult times. It can be a tool of resilience, offering us a clear strategy to resist and thrive even when our circumstances and environment are not ideal. In this class, Jill will provide trauma informed writing strategies that can help us stay grounded even in challenging contexts. There will be an opportunity to practice the skills taught.
Jill Manoukian teaches English at Andrews University, has a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition and a graduate certificate in Trauma Informed Care. This program is free, and registration is not required.
