Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office Training Facility An excellent shooting range and facility for every aspect law enforcement training. (Ron Abernathy, Sheriff)

The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office Training Facility has been in the process of growth since Ron Abernathy became Sheriff for his second term in 2015. His goal is to enhance training opportunities for our deputies and surrounding law enforcement agencies. Lodging is provided free of charge at the facility to accommodate agencies who may not have the training budget needed to include hotel costs. Many of the training courses held here are also offered free to officers.
