**PRESS RELEASE**
On 08-16-2026 An officer observed a vehicle traveling 74 in a 60 MPH zone on Highway 62 East. The driver, later identified as Louis Fernando Reyes Vieyra (AKA Louis Reyes), failed to provide any form of identification and attempts to identify him were unsuccessful. Vieyra was later transported to the Carroll County Detention Center where he was later positively identified. Subsequent investigation reveled that Vieyra is a known gang member with the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). Vieyra was a known Terrorist with several Interpol hits for multiple murders in Mexico. Vieyra was cited with speeding and no drivers license and turned over to the detention center. The other passengers in the vehicle were released at the scene of the stop. Vieyra was later turned over to federal custody.

Barn full of hay burned last night it can be seen from Hwy 412 in the Osage area, we have been advised by the fire dept there will be visible flames for several days.
