We are getting reports of people hearing an explosion in the Bertram area. At this time we don't know where it came from, we do know it wasn't in the city. We have been looking for any signs of an explosion with the Bertram Fire Department and the Burnet County Sheriff's Department but we have not been able to locate anything. It is possibly it was a jet breaking the sound barrier. At this time everything looks to be ok.
