Our department was notified from the Montour Area Recreation Commission about a trespassing incident that occurred at the Briar Creek Park on March 28th, 2026, at 01:06 a.m.As a reminder, Briar Creek Lake and Park are closed from dusk to dawn.

The Briar Creek Park is now open for the season.

Briar Creek Park offers several pavilions for your picnic needs. There is no rental fee or reservations for the use of pavilions. Some of the pavilions offer electricity and grills and are available on a first come, first serve basis.

As a reminder, please be respectful of others and clean up after yourself.

Back the Blue tickets are now available for our 7th Annual Back the Blue Event.

All proceeds benefit our department and South Centre Township Police. Funds aid our departments with community events, such as our Trunk-or-Treats and Shop-with-a-Cop Christmas.

Pre-sale tickets are $10/single or $20/couple, VIP Tickets are $75/single or $100/ couple.

Vendor spots are open, as well.

Tickets can be purchased at Three Dogs Vino, South Centre Township Police and Briar Creek Township.
