Yesterday, we continued the excitement with our annual Book Distribution at East Berwick Elementary School! 📚✨

Seeing the smiles and excitement around reading is what this event is all about. This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community. A huge thank you to everyone who donated books, including Reliance Fire Company No. 1, employees of First Keystone Community Bank, Journey Bank, and McBride Memorial Library for helping make this year’s distribution such a success!

Last week, we were thrilled to hold our annual Book Distribution at West Berwick Elementary School, helping put more books into the hands of local students and encouraging a love of reading at home and over summer break. 📚✨

This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community. A huge thank you to everyone who donated books, including Reliance Fire Company No. 1, employees of First Keystone Community Bank, Journey Bank, and McBride Memorial Library for helping make this year’s distribution such a success!

Phew! We have finally had time to catch our breaths from the crazy busy week last week! 😮‍💨

Day of Caring 2026 was an incredible success, and it’s all because of the amazing people and organizations who came together to serve our community last Friday! 💙

✨ 22 community projects
✨ 640 hours of service

Meaningful work was accomplished across our community, proving once again, the power of people coming together to care for one another.

Today was nothing short of AMAZING! 💙

Day of Caring 2026 was a true success, and it’s all thanks to the incredible people who showed up ready to make a difference.

✨ 22 community projects
✨ 640 hours of service

That’s the power of community in action, and it’s something to be truly proud of. Because of these volunteers, meaningful work was accomplished across our community today.

And just like that, our first year of Real Men Read has come to a close! 🥳

We are incredibly proud of the success this pilot program had. A huge THANK YOU to our dedicated MENtors, participating teachers, district administrators, and, of course, our amazing students for making this program come to life!

Each kindergarten student has gone home with all six books their MENtors read to them this year - because building a love for reading starts early. ❤️📚

The Berwick Area United Way is proud to offer FREE tax preparation services again this year through our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program!

IRS-certified volunteers will complete your local, state, and federal returns at no cost for tax payers who made $70,000 or less in 2025.
