Behind the scenes...

For everyone yelling at us for not being open today. Here is what we don't tell you.

There was a point in the pool season that our main pump went down. Several of us worked and lifted a 400 lb pump into the early hours of the morning so we could rebuild it to be open the next day. Yes, we all had jobs and we volunteered to do this for you.

2 days ago our chlorinator quit. A board member removed one chlorinator rebuilt another and drove 2 hours to pick up a new one just so we could stay open that day. Unpaid.

The next time you want to criticize someone, think before you speak. We have an amazing team here who volunteer to keep this pool open every season. Unpaid, thankless and when we see the nastiness and negativity. We ask ourselves why do we do it?

Because there are people that are grateful. ( The wonderful women who thanked us and brought a cake for our board members and our staff)
Because we love what we do.
Because we love our community.
Because we try to do the best we can.

Yes , we make mistakes. We're not perfect but we're trying.

I'm not sure what happened to our post this morning. 08/27/26. We apologize for being closed today. We went with the forecast that was calling for severe thunderstorms this afternoon.
