Featuring life-like, colorful dinosaur puppets that stomp, roar and charm their way into every heart, this show blends science, storytelling and imagination in the style of your favorite nature programs. It’s an unforgettable field trip through time—without ever leaving your seat! This program is best for ages 5–12 years old.

•6:00 pm-7:30 pm, Craft It! A crafting get-together for adults. Bring your favorite project: yarn, stitching, diamond art, scrap-booking, your choice—OR—take a stab at the project of the month offered by library staff.

•5:30 pm, Self Sustainable Series. Save money and gain independence by learning practical skills. June's topic: Gluten Free Sourdough Basics.
•6:00 pm-8:00 pm, Computer Assistance Drop-in. One-on-one assistance using the computer. McBride’s volunteer instructor will be available to answer questions and assist with basic computer usage.

Gather valuable information with real-life applications regarding health, social issues, finance, and digital literacy. June 17th topic: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Basics. Be able to define key terms and understand the benefits and limitations of these tools.

📰Harness the power of pressure and energy with our Toilet Tornado™, experiment with physical vs. chemical changes with our Disappearing Polymer™, experience the laws of motion with the incredible Egg Drop™, and more! Like all of the Science Hero programs, “Digging It!” features tons of audience interaction and opportunities for your children to volunteer. This program is for ages 5–12 years old.

🦖McBride's exceptionally skilled staff wrangled up some dinosaurs for patrons to enjoy. At the return desk, you’ll find two friendly dinosaurs that absolutely adore the taste of books and movies — Feel free to feed your returning items to these delightful creatures! However, the dinosaurs roaming and gliding around the library are not as friendly. Therefore, McBride kindly asks visitors to respect their boundaries and refrain from petting or feeding them.

🦕McBride Memorial Library is not just a place for books; it’s a vibrant community gathering space where knowledge, creativity, and a touch of prehistoric wonder come together. • 11:30 am, StoryTime. Join fellow children for a delightful and traditional story time featuring read-aloud tales, songs, fingerplays, movement activities, and a hands-on project.
•3:00 pm-5:00 pm, Books and Barkers. Certified therapy dogs will be at the library this summer! Dogs are very good listeners and offer a judgement-free environment that boosts children’s confidence, fluency, and motivation, especially for reluctant or shy readers. Reserve your 15-minute one-on-one time slot at the time of the event. For ages 5-12 years old.

This is a full movement, stimulating, and calming art technique. Open to all ages! The Art Hive is sponsored and supported by The Berwick Arts Association.

•2:00 pm, Science Heroes – Digging It! Network of enthusiastic teaching artists will present the interactive science program DIGGING IT!
