Sponsler Park is reopening this Thursday for the kickoff of the Berwick Borough Summer Concert Series 🎶🎤🌳. Concert starts at 7 PM, but you are more than welcome to show up early to purchase some yummy food.
The park will host the Summer Concert Series every Thursday throughout the summer, except for July 2, and the season will run through September 3. Our final concert of the summer will feature Memory Lane, along with our infamous cake and ice cream night.
This Thursday’s kickoff concert will feature the Dan Hess Band. Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the summer from a variety of vendors - this week, we are excited to welcome back Troop 88, serving some yummy concession food and drinks!🌭🥤🍔
Our wonderful Riverfest Committee will also be selling 50/50 tickets 🎟️and rip-offs throughout the summer. Their efforts help keep Riverfest free, including free admission, free parking, and free entertainment for children and families.
Parking for the concerts can be found along Monroe Street and, thanks to the generosity of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, in their parking lots as well. You can access the parking via Monroe/Center Street as well as J. Jordan Boulevard off of Center and Fair Street.
In the event of inclement weather during the season, a decision will be made by 10:00 AM on the day of the concert, and the concert will be moved to The Berwick Theater and Center for Community Arts, located at 110 E. Front St.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Sponsler Park for a great summer of music.
Again, we would like to thank our partners, Berwick Arts Association, The Berwick Theater and Center for Community Arts, the Community Giving Foundation, for their generous support to make this happen in our community.
