Jonesboro Elementary families, it’s almost time for Summer Jam! We are excited to welcome our Stars for a summer filled with learning, fun, and enrichment.

📍 Bus routes and pickup times for the Muscoda Hill, Pepper Tree, Villa Glen, and 2nd Avenue areas are now available. Please review the route information carefully to locate your child’s stop and expected pickup time.

Bessemer City Schools Child Nutrition Program is excited to provide FREE breakfast and lunch meals for children 18 years old and younger this summer!

Today, we remember the brave men and women who gave everything for the freedoms we often take for granted.
Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it’s a moment to pause, reflect, and honor the heroes who never made it home. Their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends today, may we also carry gratitude in our hearts for those who paid the ultimate price for our country.
